Fatal Plane Crash behind Weddington Chase March 20th, 2008.

Structure Fire December 14th, 2006. Even though a bit dated, this incident was unusual. What appeared to be a defective range catching on fire was in reality an electrical problem. A cable contractor trenching in the cable service severed the neutral wire on the main electrical service. This created a high voltage condition which in turn ignited the controls on this range. Quick thinking by another contractor limited the damage to minimal.
